Position Summary: Our Housepersons l Tidiness Support Enthusiasts play a pivotal role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of our hotel. They are responsible for ensuring that all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms, are impeccably clean and well-maintained. Additionally, they assist with the delivery of guest requests, such as extra linens and amenities, and support the housekeeping team with various tasks to ensure a seamless and efficient operation. Their dedication to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and service significantly enhances the guest experience and contributes to the smooth functioning of our establishment.

  • Remove soiled linen and trash from room/suite attendant carts.
  • Transport soiled linen to the laundry and trash to the dumpster.
  • Deliver cribs, rollaways, and other related items to guestrooms/suites as requested by the supervisor and/or guest.
  • Return items to proper storage when no longer needed.
  • Move furniture as needed, including setting up tables and chairs in meeting rooms for guest functions.
  • Move delivered inventory to correct locations such as storage rooms and suites.
  • Keep public areas neat by removing trash, mopping floors, and cleaning carpets as necessary.
  • Clean light fixtures, ceiling fans, windows, and glass doors as assigned.
  • Flip mattresses as necessary.
  • Hang curtains and drapes.
  • Assist in the removal of bedspreads, blankets, and curtains.
  • Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel, including those in the employee handbook.
  • The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands, and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
