About The Position
IHG Army Hotels is looking for a Houseperson/Laundry Attendant at our Hunter Army Airfield location in Savannah, GA. At IHG Army Hotels, our mission is to provide great on-post hotel stay experiences to military personnel, families, as well as guests. We do this by providing convenient, reasonably priced hotels on 40 installations across the nation- many featuring brand-name hotels previously only offered off post. This dual role has the overall responsibility to assist room attendants on days working as a Houseperson, and Clean and store linens in a timely, organized manner to ensure that hotel's laundry and linen needs are met, on days working as Laundry Attendant. This would include collecting dirty linens and transport to laundry area, deliver fresh linens to room attendant carts throughout the day. May assist with stripping linens from room and/or the cleaning of public areas. Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and housekeeping staff. This is a pet friendly hotel, and regular handling of linens containing pet allergens is required. Those with pet allergies should not apply. This property is located on a US Military Installation. Successful completion of a Federal Background check will be required to access the installation in order to attend an interview for this position, and will be required to be renewed annually at minimum. DOD, Military Retiree, Spouse or Dependant card holders will be able to use their ID cards in-lieu of these procedures. You must attach a resume to your application for it to be considered.
