Houseman, Hotel (Full Time - 7pm-2:30am)
About The Position
Description Essential Job Functions: : Performing duties with the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment including carpet/floor care; maintaining the cleanliness of the guest room floors and storage closets as needed; picking up linen and garbage from housekeeping carts throughout the day; removing dirty linen from vacant rooms at a minimum of 10 rooms per Room Attendant per day; performing special projects assigned by supervisors; following safety and security procedures. Knowledge, Skills & Education Preferred : Must be able to speak English and communicate via a radio. Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but will train excellent applicants. Qualifications: Physical Requirements: Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations. Able to lift and carry upwards of 5-15 pounds. Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area. Must be able to stand for 8 hours at a time. Respond to visual and aural cues. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Able to work flexible shifts. Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations. Must be able to manage several tasks. Ability to interact effectively with co-workers. Must have a pleasant service voice.
