Custodial floor care is more than just a routine task here at WCBay—it’s a vital part of maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. From day-to-day maintenance to special event preparation & clean-up, our dedicated custodial team ensures that every floor shines with care and attention to detail. Above all, safety is our top priority. Our floor care practices help ensure that every resident, employee and guest feels at ease and secure when in our buildings.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions

- COVID-19 Vaccinated. As of now, the 2025–2026 COVID-19 vaccine formulation is being distributed to providers and pharmacies; however, it has not yet received official approval from the CDC. In Virginia, pharmacists may administer COVID-19 vaccines under the Virginia Board of Pharmacy’s statewide protocols or with a direct order from a licensed medical provider. Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, and fixtures
- Handle waste collection and emergency spills
- Move furniture and assist with event setups
- Report maintenance issues and equipment needs
- Use professional cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Support a safe, sanitary, and positive environment for all
- All other duties as assigned
