About The Position
Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. The Club offers employees the opportunity to contribute to essential operations that support a high standard of cleanliness and functionality. As a houseperson, you will assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces, ensuring common areas are well-maintained, and responding to member requests. ANCC housemen are responsible for providing the highest quality housekeeping service to our members and guests, while maintaining the service standards set forth by the housekeeping management team. Work hard to promote the business and best interests of Army Navy Country Club.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily scheduled cleaning services as assigned by Manager
- Surface dusting
- Vacuum, mop and sweep
- Clean windows
- Bathroom cleaning
- Laundry
- Iron
- Perform thorough deep clean of event spaces and outdoor dining areas as required
- Report on all maintenance issues to Manager, immediately
- Report on all safety and security issues to Manager, immediately
- Communicate with Manager to ensure all guest/member requests are fulfilled
- Complete all other tasks assigned by the Service Manager
