About The Position

Cleans guest rooms according to the “Once a Round” procedure in the amount of time set up in labor standards. Makes beds according to standards with fresh sheets and pillowcases. Picks up debris from the floor, vacuums floors and removes, as well as empties trash in wastebaskets. Cleans mirrors and shelves, wipes doors, doorframes, and furniture. Dusts light fixtures, windowsills, baseboards, and picture frames. Arranges furniture properly. Cleans bathrooms, scrubs basins, tubs, toilets, and tile floor with appropriate chemical solutions and rags in accordance with Marriott brand standards. Replenishes room supplies in proper quantity and location. Reports to the Executive Housekeeper or the Assistant Executive Housekeeper. Checks heating and cooling system as appropriate for the time of year, televisions, radios, clocks, and all lights in all areas of the bathroom and guest room. Reports all deficiencies in operation of heating and cooling systems, televisions, radios, clocks, and replaces light bulbs as needed.
