About The Position

Responsible for the general upkeep and housekeeping of offices and common areas within the plant facility - including cleaning offices, break rooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, conference areas, and other necessary areas of plant facility, collecting and disposing of trash in assigned areas, sweeping/mopping floors of assigned areas and dusting surfaces of assigned areas. Must be willing and able: Perform various other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Superintendent. All employees are responsible for upholding the principals of SQF 2000. Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to visually check area for cleanliness. Must be willing and able to work with general cleaning chemicals provided.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months continuous employment in the last 18 months.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred candidates will have at least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agricultural or production experience.
