Under the direction of the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director, the Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all facility areas and assisting in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. This position may also assist in doing the Laundry. Responsibilities include performing daily cleaning functions, cleaning and polishing furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, bathroom fixtures, windows, mirrors, and floors. The housekeeper will also clean walls, use proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions, maintain supplies, discard waste/trash, sanitize vacant rooms, collect and launder resident clothing and linens, and report needed repairs.
