About The Position
Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for cleaning all areas of the store to include floors, shelves, rest rooms, registers and aisles. Maintains the store in terms of neatness and cleanliness, inside and outside, with a focus on customer and associate safety. Provides a high level of customer courtesy and service at all times.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the store and parking lot, including break rooms, restrooms, backroom, and sales floor, case fronts, bottle return area. Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, and efficient customer service at all times. Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request. Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times. Responsible for maintaining the floors within the store. (i.e.: mops, sweeps, and cleans floors.) Respond to requests for "cleanups' throughout the store. Maintain all corporate, state and federal sanitation standards. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to work with approved cleaning chemicals.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic Literacy skills.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Satisfactory Performance Reviews.
