Gold's Gym Housekeepers are essential members of the gym staff team, tasked with ensuring that the facility remains clean and meets the high expectations of our members. This role involves a variety of light cleaning duties across different areas of the gym, including the gym floor, locker rooms, and offices. Housekeepers work under the guidance of the Gym Member Experience Manager and the Gym Operations Manager, performing their duties to maintain a clean and orderly environment for all gym users. The responsibilities of a Housekeeper at Gold's Gym include a range of cleaning tasks that are crucial for the overall hygiene and appearance of the facility. Housekeepers are expected to clean outside glass, wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as necessary, and empty trash receptacles daily. They will also sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases, ensuring that all areas are kept tidy. Additionally, Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning carpets and floors as needed, changing light bulbs, and maintaining the cleanliness of all fitness equipment, bathrooms, mirrors, and glass surfaces. Daily tasks also include dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning the management office, mopping and sweeping lobby floors, and thoroughly cleaning the locker room, which involves sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and dusting. Housekeepers must also maintain and organize cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring that mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, and other tools are in good condition and stored properly. They are responsible for picking up debris on carpets, vacuuming, replacing or adding required supplies in locker rooms, stocking carts with linens and supplies, and cleaning vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily. Furthermore, Housekeepers are expected to report any maintenance problems in an accurate and timely manner, contributing to the overall upkeep of the gym.
