About The Position

The Housekeeping Team Lead performs daily housekeeping services, including general cleaning and trash removal, within assigned areas. This involves cleaning various room types and surfaces such as restrooms, offices, lobbies, and medical areas, utilizing proper cleaning techniques and equipment. Additionally, the Team Lead supports the supervisor and department management in overseeing staff to ensure daily housekeeping services are completed safely, accurately, and timely. On weekends, the Team Lead serves as a primary point of contact for customers, staff, and vendors, troubleshooting service issues and implementing solutions as needed. This is a high-profile position that requires a professional appearance, manner, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

3+ years Housekeeping experience required
Professional appearance and manner
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Perform daily housekeeping services requirements within assigned area(s)
Conduct general cleaning and trash removal
Clean various building room types and surfaces including restrooms, offices, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, laboratories, elevators, and medical areas
Apply proper cleaning techniques such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, spot cleaning, scrubbing, and disinfecting
Remove trash and recycling
Restock all fixtures including toilet paper, towels, soap, and sanitizer
Utilize various equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor machines in completion of duties
Support the supervisor and department management in overseeing daily housekeeping services provided by staff within assigned areas to ensure successful completion in a safe, accurate, and timely manner
Serve as a point of contact between customers, staff, and vendors on weekends
Troubleshoot service issues as necessary and implement solutions on weekends
