Requirements

  • Proven experience in housekeeping supervision or management, preferably in a senior living or hospitality setting

  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in cleaning or hospitality management is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met throughout the community
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality
  • Conduct regular inspections of common areas, resident rooms, and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance
  • Collaborate with management to address resident needs and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly
  • Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment, fostering staff development and morale
