About The Position

Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor Opportunity at Rosegate Commons Assisted Living The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor plays a key role in providing the residents, staff and public with a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment by planning, organizing, and directing the housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations. Skills Needed: Leadership : The ability to lead and motivate others to follow proper safety and environmental regulations. Monitors, teaches, mentors and supervises housekeeping and laundry aides on a daily basis. Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents. Physical Abilities: Stamina, strength and endurance to provide cleaning and laundry services. Supportive Presence : Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
  • One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department.
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
