About The Position

The Housekeeping and Grounds Supervisor's primary responsibility is to ensure the beauty and cleanliness of the buildings and grounds. The Housekeeping and Grounds Supervisor oversees all Housekeeping Duties and all custodial duties on the property and all grounds maintenance on the property. The Housekeeping and Grounds Supervisor sets expectations and communicates well with all those working within the Custodial/Housekeeping Department, the Guest Services staff and Management.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience which provides the required skills and knowledge for successful job performance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work well with people of different backgrounds is required.
• Prior experience requiring leadership or employee supervision preferred.
• An eye for detail is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds from floor to chest height for extended periods of time.
• Stand, walk, sit, move freely and climb stairs unassisted for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb multiple levels of stairs repeatedly, bending, twisting and reaching motions.
• Ability to safely use step ladders, cleaning equipment, snow shovels and hand carts.
