Requirements

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to train and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and terminate housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Conduct employee write-ups and performance evaluations.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, depending on staffing levels.
  • Oversee daily housekeeping activities including room cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Train housekeepers on model room standards and procedures.
  • Assist with laundry and ensure timely processing of linens.
  • Manage and coordinate repairs related to blinds, air systems, and other room features.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels.
  • Order and stock supplies, including linen closets and housekeeping materials.
  • Maintain accurate labor logs and ensure efficient scheduling of staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms exceed model room standards.
  • Provide support to housekeepers and PM staff with stripping beds, stocking closets, and other tasks.
  • Oversee breakfast area cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through high standards of cleanliness and service.
