About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet Hilton brand standards and cleanliness expectations. This role supervises room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff while ensuring productivity, quality control, and adherence to safety and operational procedures. This position plays a critical role in maintaining room readiness, supporting occupancy demands, and driving accountability across the housekeeping team. Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Previous housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the property as needed
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff
  • Assign boards and workload based on occupancy, departures, arrivals, and operational priorities
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with Hilton cleanliness and brand standards
  • Ensure accurate room status updates and alignment between housekeeping and front desk
  • Monitor productivity, staffing levels, and labor efficiency to meet operational goals
  • Train, coach, and support team members to ensure consistent performance and adherence to standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures
  • Manage inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment while controlling costs and minimizing waste
  • Oversee Lost and Found procedures, ensuring items are properly logged, secured, and returned to guests promptly
  • Respond to guest requests and service recovery situations in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain clear shift-to-shift communication through logs and reporting tools
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and prepare for brand inspections and audits
  • Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and professionalism throughout the property
  • Assist with cleaning rooms or public areas as needed to support operational demands
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
