About The Position

Join the most exciting team in town! The Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium (ICCLOS) is a powerhouse destination for some of the largest events in the country. Every day brings something new with hundreds of events throughout the year and annual events such as the Big Ten Football Championship game, FDIC International, Gen Con, Indiana Black Expo, Indiana Comic Con, National FFA, and PRI. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all full time and temp housekeeping staff at Lucas Oil Stadium. Hours: Primarily day shift hours but times and days will vary based on event needs.

Requirements

Associates degree from two-year college or university: or one to two years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be skilled in oral and written communication.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations regarding use and storage of chemicals along with knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
Knowledge of labor contracts or working with union staff.
Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
Knowledge of the operation of mechanical cleaning equipment equipment.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding use and storage of chemicals.

Responsibilities

Schedule staff appropriately based on event and show activity in the facility.
Supervise and direct duties of housekeeping staff.
Supervise contractual (temp) labor.
Required to work flexible hours based the needs of the facility.
Supervise the handling of all cleaning supplies.
Ensure all equipment is stored properly.
Keep accurate weekly inventory count.
Issue staff disciplinary actions as required.
Make recommendations related to hiring, firing or other changes in employee status.
