Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related housekeeping experience.
One year of supervisory experience.
Basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated good judgment when working with owners and staff members.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness and comfort
Lead, support, and motivate housekeeping team members to achieve service excellence and productivity goals
Create daily work assignments and inspect completed tasks to ensure quality, accuracy, and policy compliance
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members to answer questions and provide guidance
Inspect and prepare units to confirm they are “vacant and ready” before releasing them for guest arrival
Train, coach, and develop new and existing team members to promote consistent performance and growth
Identify and report maintenance or engineering concerns using established company procedures
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and follow-ups
Lead by example while consistently upholding company values, service standards, and expectations
