Applicants with prior supervisory experience in first-class or luxury hospitality settings are strongly preferred. JOB SUMMARY: The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand standards. This role is responsible for supervising staff, maintaining inventory, enforcing safety and sanitation policies, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience required
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Hospitality experience in a hotel or comparable environment strongly preferred
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Must be flexible and willing to assist with all departmental responsibilities as needed
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and carrying
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to perform moderate to somewhat strenuous physical activity daily

Responsibilities

  • Train housekeepers, public area attendants, housemen, and laundry attendants on cleaning procedures and maintenance standards
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
  • Supervise housekeeping staff daily
  • Schedule shifts and coordinate coverage for absences
  • Establish and reinforce standards for cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene
  • Motivate team members and address performance concerns when necessary
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints and special requests
  • Monitor, maintain, and order cleaning supplies and inventory (e.g., floor cleaners, disinfectants, gloves)
  • Participate in deep-cleaning and large-scale cleaning projects as required
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation policies
  • Provide hands-on support to ensure timely completion of departmental tasks
