We’re looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping department and help maintain a clean, safe, and beautiful environment for our residents, staff, and visitors in our senior living community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of housekeeping or related experience
  • Previous supervisory or scheduling experience (required)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you’re comfortable interacting with residents, families, staff, and visitors
  • Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems creatively
  • Basic math skills (working with budgets, ratios, percentages, etc.)
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
  • This is an active role. You’ll need to be able to stand, walk, kneel, lift up to 25 pounds, and move comfortably throughout the community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of housekeeping staff, creating schedules and ensuring our offices, public areas, resident homes, and community grounds are always spotless.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Plan and coordinate special cleaning projects, including annual deep cleans, move-in preparations, and carpet cleaning.
  • Manage inventory — order supplies and equipment while keeping everything stored safely and efficiently.
  • Train and develop your team on proper cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
  • Jump in and help with hands-on cleaning when needed — from floors and restrooms to kitchens and resident apartments.
  • Assist with department budgeting, prepare resident billing for housekeeping services, and help keep costs in check.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.
