About The Position

The community is seeking an energetic, hospitality-minded career professional to join their team as a Housekeeping Supervisor. This role is pivotal to the overall success of the community, requiring the supervisor to foster an environment of cooperation and teamwork, lead and mentor a team of housekeepers, and engage directly with residents to ensure the quality of service provided. The individual in this position will be fully accountable for all aspects of the day-to-day housekeeping operation, ensuring that all areas of the community consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness and order.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years’ experience in housekeeping management
• Be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall success of the community by fostering an environment of cooperation and teamwork
• Lead and mentor a team of housekeepers
• Visit with residents to determine the quality of service being provided by your team
• Be accountable for all aspects of the day-to-day housekeeping operation of this community
• Ensure all areas of the community are maintained at the highest levels of cleanliness and order at all times
• Be accountable for the scheduling and implementation of housekeeping and laundry duties
• Be accountable for employee development
• Be accountable for process improvement
