About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Houskeeping Supervisor. In this role,you’ll be responsible for the efficient and effective daily operation relating to the department, as set forth by the Resort’s standards and will administer the supervision of all floor staff. They are also responsible for ensuring rooms are maintained to set standards of cleanliness and are ready in a timely manner for guest accommodations. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure high-quality service, consistent product standards, and a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll provide leadership, support teamwork, and foster a positive and efficient work environment for associates.

Requirements

Background consisting of experience with properties (Hotels & Resorts) in excess of 500 rooms

Previous supervisory responsibilities preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor and evaluate room attendant work performance on an on-going basis, praises and disciplines staff as appropriate.
Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, associates and other departments.
Provide routine inspections of all guest rooms/suites and public areas to ensure everything is clean and in good repair.
Monitor floor room attendant records for daily assignments to be completed, signed off and turned into the Housekeeping Office daily.
