This leadership position is responsible for supporting daily housekeeping operations, inspiring team performance, and ensuring every guest room and public space reflects the high standards and sophisticated atmosphere that define Hotel Effie. Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred, ideally within a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for developing teams and elevating service.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping operations, equipment, and best practices.
  • Guest-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, including carts, furniture, and equipment.
  • Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity for detailed inspections and cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to work in indoor and occasional outdoor environments as required.
  • Physical stamina to climb stairs, ladders, and navigate various areas of the property.
  • Ability to transport housekeeping carts across different areas of the property, including outdoor walkways when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the housekeeping team to consistently elevate service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Assign daily responsibilities, inspections, and special projects while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough room and public space inspections to ensure luxury-level presentation and cleanliness standards are met or exceeded.
  • Support inventory control processes, ensuring appropriate levels of linens, supplies, and equipment are maintained.
  • Partner with the Housekeeping Manager to monitor team performance, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and special service needs.
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and well-organized work environment while upholding all health and safety protocols.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a strong, service-focused team culture.
  • Complete reports, track operational metrics, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless operations and a consistently elevated guest environment.
