Bellingham at West Chester is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team! This role is responsible for the training and supervising of the housekeepers, ordering supplies, chemicals, assisting with budget preparation, and operating within budgetary guidelines. Requirements

High School diploma required.
3-5 years of environmental services experience in a retirement community, hotel, or healthcare setting preferred.

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree or equivalent in relevant education, training and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervises the performance of all housekeeping personnel through personal inspections and other quality control techniques.
Selects, trains, evaluates and disciplines all housekeeping personnel.
Keeps required records, reports, studies.
Inspects all housekeeping and laundry equipment regularly for proper functioning and safety.
Coordinates apartment refurbishing with the Plant Services Director.
Coordinates department functions with those of other departments.
