We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team of room attendants and ensure we provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities · Completes the opening and closing of the housekeeping department · Completes the daily boards/work assignments for the housekeeping team · Supervises the housekeeping team to ensure quality and standards are being upheld · Inspects all departure and stayover cleans for the day, ensuring inspection checklists are also completed · Oversees the housemen to ensure all guest requests and tasks assigned are completed · Responsible for hiring of new department team members · Oversees the training of all new housekeeping team members · Completes on the job training with all team members to ensure all standards are upheld · Conducts coaching, counselling and disciplinary actions as required · Arranges staff work schedules, determining days off, insuring staffing levels are based on occupancy and/or any current or anticipated projects. Submits payroll records, correcting errors to ensure pay is on time and accurate · Maintains and reviews computerized records for budgeting and forecasting of department expenses as well as inspection scores for housekeepers. · Assists the Executive Housekeeper with weekly, monthly and annual inventories · Ensures the security of all department inventory · Coordinate on a daily basis with front desk and management to ensure clear communication · Respond to guest requests or complaints in an efficient and professional manner · Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff and management team · Perform any other job related duties as assigned by management Requirements and skills Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products Excellent organizational and team management skills Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends High school diploma is a plus Benefits for Full-time: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discounts Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Schedule: 8-hour shift Evening shift Every weekend Holidays Night shifts Weekend availability Established in 2011, Carter Hospitality Group, LLC. is a family-owned hospitality company with four hotels and resorts as well as three wineries across the United States.
