About The Position

The position of Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for assisting in overseeing the housekeeping team and ensuring cleanliness in all Club facilities. The work will be conducted in both indoor and outdoor environments throughout the year, with exposure to various weather conditions. A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail are essential in order to uphold the property to a high standard consistently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Two or more years of experience in a similar position
  • Ability to work scheduled hours, including holidays and weekends when required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Engaging in lifting, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, and crawling throughout the course of the job
  • Being on your feet for an extended period of time

Responsibilities

  • Adhering to the same standards of service and behavior that peers are required to uphold
  • Demonstrating effective communication skills through various digital platforms utilized by the Club
  • Maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Working with peers to meet the needs of the team
  • Representing the Club well in its relationships with members and vendors
  • Performing general cleaning duties across the club property, including restrooms, fitness rooms, dining areas, and event spaces
  • Monitoring and restocking locker rooms and restrooms as necessary
  • Managing trash and recycling disposal in member and staff areas
  • Washing, folding, and storing Club towels and cleaning rags
  • Cleaning high areas and fixtures on a regular basis
  • Completing deep cleaning projects as scheduled
  • Using ladders and commercial machines when needed
  • Continuously improving housekeeping knowledge and skills
  • Being mindful of members, management, and peers
  • Overseeing housekeeping staff, including scheduling and time card approvals
  • Maintaining proper inventory levels
  • Maintaining storage facilities in a safe and organized manner
  • Communicating with the Facilities Director and housekeeping team concerning ongoing projects, including the completion of regular work orders
  • Being attentive to the needs of the members
  • General behavior and language
  • Maintaining good hygiene and professional appearance
