About The Position
Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Housekeeping Supervisor. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will have at least one year of housekeeping experience, possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment. SUMMARY OF POSITION : The Housekeeping Supervisor's primary objective is to assist and direct the housekeeping staff in order to ensure all guest rooms and guest areas are clean and inspected. It is also important to participate fully in Mission Point's hospitality culture as a member of our staff and maintain an excellent line of communication with the Housekeeping Manager
Requirements
- Must have a minimum work experience of one year as a room attendant or related experience/education.
- Must be able to direct employees and enforce all standards and regulations of the resort.
- Must be willing and able to frequently interact and assist any and all guests and employees in need of anything.
- Should be able to use and express skills to contribute to the housekeeping team to complete the daily housekeeping goals.
