Requirements

Previous Housekeeping experience is preferred, with demonstrated leadership skills.
Able to work with management on special projects.
Must work with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
Inspects the cleanliness of guest hallways.
Assigns special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
Reports any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
Ensures that all GRAs have appropriate supplies and linens.
Assists in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
Assists in processing AM and PM room status reports.
Ensures that the GRA's linen cart is neat and well organized.
Ensures that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
Maintain all supply storage closets, neat and clean at all times.
Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phone after completion.
Ensure all guest room doors be held open with a door stopper when needed.
Ensure VIP rooms must be inspected before noon.
Participate and monitor the new hire training process.
Ensure check-out rooms are a priority.
Maintain daily knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.

Ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a clean, safe and secure environment.
