About The Position
Supervises the work activities of the housekeepers & housemen to ensure a clean, safe and attractive environment
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years minimum housekeeping experience required
Nice To Haves
- 2nd language desirable
Responsibilities
- Inspects rooms daily for cleanliness, neatness, appearance and wear and tear
- Reports needed repairs according to procedures to supervisor and/or maintenance
- Works closely with engineering and front office on out-of-order rooms
- To assist in the development and implementation of department programs, training, scheduling, supervision of housekeeping employees
- Reports lost and found articles to supervisor immediately, mails or properly stores items
- Responsible for picking up “over” rooms at times when it becomes necessary
