About The Position

Supervision of 6-10 full-time housekeepers. Provides supervision of housekeeping services within the residence halls to include planning and scheduling work, coaching and meeting training needs of staff, determining material needs for work assignments, and inspecting each building to ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.

Requirements

• Graduation from High School or possession of a GED
• one year of experience in the area assigned
• an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
• Where applicable, must be eligible for required certification.

Nice To Haves

• at least five (5) years of housekeeping experience
• at least two (2) years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or other customer facing positions
• knowledge of APPA cleaning standards
• experience operating various housekeeping equipment such as scrubbers, burnishers, vacuum chariots, etc.
• basic to intermediate computer skills (including Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
