About The Position
Housekeeping Supervisor (Seasonal / Temporary) Ojo Caliente, New Mexico Job Summary: Work where guests come to rest and reset. Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations in a peaceful, high-desert setting. You will oversee room cleanliness, staff performance, and guest satisfaction across guest rooms, casitas, and public spaces. This is a hands-on leadership role with strong opportunity to build supervisory experience in a destination resort known for wellness and hospitality. Location: Northern New Mexico, about 50 miles north of Santa Fe High desert landscape Wide open skies Natural hot springs Quiet, remote setting focused on wellness What You’ll Do: Lead and support housekeeping and laundry operations Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members Assist with cleaning duties as needed based on occupancy Maintain cleaning schedules and department organization Submit maintenance work orders and follow up Manage inventory of linens and supplies Prepare weekly staff schedules Update room status in property systems Respond quickly to guest requests and service needs Ensure safety, sanitation, and operational standards are followed Schedule & Season: Seasonal or temporary role based on business demand Full-time hours, varies with occupancy Weekend and holiday availability required Fast-paced environment during peak seasons Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience Consistent hours during peak seasons Opportunity to grow into long-term leadership roles Perks & Benefits: Complimentary soaking (Monday through Thursday) 40% off spa treatments 40% off restaurants 20% off retail Discounted lodging rates Employee meals and appreciation events Training and development opportunities Access to wellness-focused work environment
Requirements
- At least 1 year of housekeeping supervisory experience in hotel or resort
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe use
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout large property
- Valid driver capability for golf cart use
- Flexible schedule, weekends required
- Strong leadership and accountability
- Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards

- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
