About The Position

The supervisor oversees the environmental operation directly responsible for promoting a clean and efficient process for the assigned account. Acts as a direct liaison between the client and staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of at least 2 years previous supervisory experience
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, or Creole
  • Valid Florida Driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible to ensure the clients requests are assigned to personnel and completed in a timely manner daily
  • Supervises work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure a clean environment
  • Assigns workers their duties, and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness
  • Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
  • Plans work schedule for major tasks.
  • Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Issues supplies and equipment to workers.
  • Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action.
  • Conducts in-service training of assigned employees to explain company policies, housekeeping work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Attends training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures and enhance supervisory skills.
  • Records data concerning work assignments, personnel actions, and timecards, and prepares periodic reports.
  • Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons' complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
