Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor II to support KABS and our government customer in Pryor, MT. This position is covered under the Service Contract Act. The Housekeeper Supervisor II leads a team responsible for safe, effective, and patient-centered cleaning and disinfection across inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and support areas. Supervisory Services: Plans and assign work to subordinates, set priorities, establish work unit goals and objectives, establish work schedules from completion of work for housekeeping department. Coordination with linen supplier to ensure clean linens for CSU. Reconcile monthly tickets/invoice for payment. Conducts training with staff to ensure all staff are following infection control procedures. Provides orientation for new staff and annual orientation to incumbent staff Communicate with staff on work assignments and expectations.Communicates with administration on all matters concerning department including employee complaint, operational challenges. Perform quality checks with infection control/quality personnel, Serves on safety and infection control committees Responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, etc.) Responsible for contracts for services and products. This role schedules and supervises shift-based operations (24/7), ensures compliance with infection prevention standards, supports survey readiness, and partners with Nursing, Infection Prevention (IP), Facilities, and Tribal leadership to maintain a clean, healing environment that respects Tribal culture and community priorities. Reports to: Support Services/EVS Manager. Manages: Housekeepers/EVS Technicians (multiple shifts) and key vendors. Schedule: Full time; shift work required (days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays) with occasional on-call for outbreaks/surge needs. Key Responsibilities: People leadership: Hire, train, coach, and evaluate EVS staff; run shift huddles; set daily assignments; manage attendance and performance; foster a respectful, safety-first culture aligned with Indian Preference policies. Daily operations: Oversee routine, isolation, and terminal cleaning of patient rooms; discharge/transfer turnaround; OR/procedural room cleaning per policy; public/common area cleaning; floor care; waste handling. Infection prevention: Enforce isolation precautions and cleaning workflows (e.g., C. diff/Contact Plus); validate cleaning (fluorescent gel/ATP where used); collaborate with IP on audits, water events, and outbreaks. Regulatory readiness: Maintain survey-ready documentation (policies, training, competencies, logs, audits); support Joint Commission/CMS/IHS/OSHA/EOC rounds and implement corrective actions. Chemicals & equipment: Ensure proper use of EPA-registered disinfectants, dilution systems, microfiber, UV or adjunct technologies (if used); maintain carts, autoscrubbers/burnishers, and spare inventories. Bed management support: Coordinate with Nursing/Admitting on discharge priorities; meet or beat bed-turnover SLAs and communicate delays/escalations. Safety & risk: Enforce PPE, bloodborne pathogen standards, sharps awareness, hazard communication/SDS access, ergonomics, and incident reporting. Scheduling & staffing: Build shift schedules and rotations; manage meal/break coverage; approve timecards; coordinate agency/temp staff when required. Vendor & budget stewardship: Oversee linen, mat, and waste vendors; verify service levels and invoices; support supply forecasting and cost control. Community & cultural engagement: Ensure practices respect Tribal customs and spaces; encourage local hiring and skills transfer.
