John James Audubon State Park is in Henderson, Kentucky where the legendary artist and naturalist discovered his passion. At the heart of the park is a world class museum. The 1373-acre park offers recreational activities that include camping, golfing, fishing, and hiking. John James Audubon State Park opened in 1934 is comprised of six cottages’, 9-Hole golf course, picnic shelters, museum, nature center, hiking trails, lake, and campground. John James Audubon State Park is currently searching for a Housekeeping Supervisor I. This position will be in charge of the cleaning of the park’s newly renovated six cottages and maintaining the public areas that include a world class museum that houses one of the largest collections of John James Audubon artwork and artifacts in the world. The Housekeeping Supervisor I maintains the laundry, inventories for their department, and the scheduling of the housekeeping staff to ensure coverage to maintain the parks cleanliness. Whether it is leading a team to clean our cottages or assisting guests on park, this position offers a variety of duties for a well-rounded experience of guest service.
