About The Position

Presbyterian Homes & Services - Maranatha is seeking a Housekeeping Services Manager for its team. SCHEDULE: Full-Time M-F REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Housekeeping Services Manager reports to the Site Leader or Director assigned responsibility for Environmental Services and supervisors Housekeeping staff. Maranatha is a unique community made up of assisted living apartments, linked to the newly rebuilt care center and transitional care where 24 hour skilled nursing care is provided. As an employee you can take advantage of a variety of amenities such as:- Access to bus route- Off-street parking- Discounted employee meals This community offers the following care options: Assisted Living, Care Center/Long Term Care, Long Term Care with Memory Care, Transitional Care/Rehab, Senior Independent Living Apartments The Housekeeping Services Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, evaluating and effectively directing the Housekeeping Services staff in order to ensure uncompromising levels of cleanliness in work areas, buildings, and grounds consistent with regulations, established policies, procedures and best practices. As a member of the site leadership team, the Housekeeping Services Manager is responsible for participating in the planning and implementation of strategies and programming that assure a safe and secure environment while achieving short and long-term goals and objectives for the site.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Familiar with the basic principles of sanitation.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational, administrative, leadership and prioritization skills.
  • Must have flexibility, personal integrity and ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members and the general public.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
