About The Position

Presbyterian Homes & Services - Dickson Hollow is seeking a Full-time Housekeeper/Housekeeping Services Assistant for our team. This housekeeping position is unique in that you have the opportunity to purposefully serve older adults and be a part of our Christian Ministry. Dickson Hollow is located on the corner of Pilgrim Rd. and Lisbon Rd. in Menomonee Falls, WI. Requirements

• Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
• Must possess the ability to take direction, prioritize duties, and organize work with others.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and assure uncompromising levels of cleanliness in work areas, buildings and grounds.
• General cleaning, floor care, washing, sanitizing, polishing furniture/fixtures, waste removal, stocking supplies, cleaning windows.
• Collect laundry from resident rooms and designated areas, sort, label, wash, dry and distribute linens and resident personal clothing per assigned schedule.
• Iron articles as required, inspect laundry and linen, inform supervisor of replacement needs for communication with residents/families.
• Ensure that housekeeping and laundry supplies are replenished in work areas.
• Ensure that equipment, tools, and supplies are cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shift.

Benefits

• Salary: $15.67 - $18.36/ hour+ Based on Experience
