About The Position

NEXDINE Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Service Worker to join our team in Bronx, NY. This position is essential in maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring the safety and health of our clients and staff. The Housekeeping Service Worker will adhere to established procedures and regulations, including OSHA and local guidelines, to provide a safe working environment. This role requires a commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail, as well as the ability to follow safety procedures when handling cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Requirements

• Dependable and excellent customer service skills
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and XENDELLA regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others
• Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to XENDELLA and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company/client assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
