About The Position

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at the Harbor View Hotels property according to established standards. This includes a variety of tasks such as changing linen, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and picking up trash. The role also involves loading and organizing housekeeping carts and storage closets, responding to guest requests, and reporting any room-related issues. Additionally, the attendant will inspect hotel rooms to ensure proper cleanliness and perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Three (3) months of experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or private club required.
• Valid US Work Authorization. (Eligible for H2B In Country Visa Extension)

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at Harbor View Hotels property; trained to standards.
• Changing linen, making beds, cleaning the bathroom, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, picking up trash, requesting guest amenities.
• Loading and organizing housekeeping carts and storage closets.
• Responding to guests requests and reporting any issue regarding the guest room that was either noted during service or reported by the guest.
• Inspecting Hotel rooms to ensure properly cleaned.
• Other relative tasks assigned by Manager
