About The Position
The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring a consistently high standard of service. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for guests. At The Jefferson Hotel, Housekeeping plays a vital role in creating a comfortable and memorable guest experience. As a Room Attendant, you’ll be part of a supportive team that values quality, consistency, and attention to detail. Requirements
- Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Typical start time is 8:00 AM; end time varies based on business needs.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, especially in hospitality.
- Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and demonstrate reliability and strong work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and guest-focused approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms and suites according to hotel standards
- Restock linens, amenities, and room supplies
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report maintenance concerns promptly
- Respond to guest requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned areas and housekeeping carts
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support daily operations
