Housekeeping Room Attendant, Part Time - Sawmill Creek Resort
About The Position
At Cedar Point, work is FUN! Working in a housekeeping role means you will ensure the guest checks into a clean room and give memorable service to each guest you encounter. You'll also: Carry dirty linens from guest rooms to the laundry area for processing. Clean with a variety of chemicals to ensure cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas. Use a vacuum daily to maintain floors. Collect trash from containers, pick up trash items in hotel rooms, and public areas. Make beds ensuring a neat, presentable appearance. Restock supplies, such as shampoos, conditioners, soaps, etc. in guest rooms and storage areas. Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas and perform all duties in compli- ance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines, requirements, and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with coworkers Responsible for cleaning of all common areas within the Resort, public spaces,mopping and sweeping floors, vacuuming, and dusting. EMPLOYEES HIRED INTO THE ABOVE POSITION WILL BE SOLICITED FOR MEMBERSHIP BY THE MIDWEST REGIONAL JOINT BOARD UNION REPRESENTING SAWMILL CREEK
Requirements
- Self-motivated
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Able to push-pull a cart 100lbs with assistance
- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including: days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
