Room Attendant Position Summary As a Room Attendant, you are an essential part of the hotel's commitment to excellence in cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that guest rooms and suites are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and comfort. We are seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, dependable, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service that enhances the overall guest experience.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, carry and bend during majority of shift
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Clean assigned rooms/suites according to standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
  • Replenish room amenities such as toiletries, paper products, and towels.
  • Maintain cleanliness of exterior entryways and hallways.
  • Stock and organize housekeeping cart daily to ensure readiness.
  • Manage issued room keys responsibly and follow proper key control procedures, including handling keys left by guests.
  • Deliver lost and found items promptly to the Executive Housekeeper’s office for documentation and safekeeping.
  • Immediately report any unusual conditions or concerns in guest rooms to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Respond to and fulfill special guest requests courteously and efficiently.
  • Ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all guest rooms and suites.
  • Keep linen closets and supply areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Report maintenance issues and assist in resolving guest complaints or concerns.
  • Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, these contained in the employee handbook.
  • The hotel operates 7 days a week. 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
