About The Position

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas in the hotel. The attendant will be responsible for the following duties: Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards Change linens, make beds, and restock guest room amenities Vacuum, dust, and mop guest rooms and public areas Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department Assist guests with any requests or needs they may have during their stay Follow all safety and sanitation procedures Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
