Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort Position Description POSITION TITLE: Housekeeping Quality Assurance DEPARTMENT: Hotel GRADE/FLSA STATUS: H12—Non-Exempt BADGE TYPE/COLOR: Work Permit--Green REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Shift Supervisor SUPERVISES: NA JOB SUMMARY: Inspect the quality of work performed by assigned personnel. Also assists supervisor with scheduling, work assignments, and performance reviews. JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values Responsible for leading, examining and inspecting the quality of work performed by assigned personnel making certain that all rooms meet Harrah’s standards Keeping all rooms cleaned in a timely manner. Follow-up of room walk through, special cleaning assignments, maintaining department cleanliness and training standards Follow and ensure security and safety standards are in place Assist or provide feedback throughout the PAF process Make recommendations to the Housekeeping Shift Supervisor regarding the day to day supervision of Room Attendants and Housepersons Complete room inspections before rooms are released for guest use Clean rooms as needed Perform the duties of both the room attendant and houseperson as needed Provide feedback to both Room Attendants and Houseperson to ensure tasks are performed to standard Serve as a role model to her/his staff Assist with assigning room attendants and housepersons to daily tasks while maintaining quality cleanliness standards set forth by the department Assist with coaching and developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor while clearly articulating expectations Assisting with supervising, directing, assisting and monitoring the performance of all Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure the completion of housekeeping tasks Assist with providing direction and support for all staff members to achieve department goals and objectives Demonstrate high levels of Spotlight service skills on a consistent basis Delight our guests with outstanding resort level service Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies/procedures in an ethical manner
