About The Position

As a Housekeeping Public Manager you will lead the daily housekeeping operations in accordance with corporate and resort guidelines. This position is responsible for managing and motivating the housekeeping team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that all housekeeping services meet our quality and service standards. Requirements

  • Proven experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong focus on cleanliness, quality, and efficiency
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment, as well as health and safety regulations
  • Highly proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
  • Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills such as data entry, email management, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Valid TN State Driver’s License
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with HotSOS and a property management system preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with guests and supervisors to address questions and provide clear direction
  • Organize, conduct, and attend meetings to exchange relevant information
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Train and provide career development for housekeeping staff
  • Supervise and motivate all housekeeping supervisors, including staffing, training, discipline, scheduling, and performance monitoring to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assign duties to supervisors, inspect work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Complete assigned projects and maintain written progress records
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
  • Adhere to company philosophies, policies, and procedures, effectively communicating them to subordinates
  • Conduct training on safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with room cleaning when short-staffed
