About The Position

Responsible for performing porter and housekeeping duties that ensure the safety and security for the residents and staff from accidents, infection and cross contamination. Responsible for economical and efficient use of supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to perform routine tasks on a repetitive basis as well as new or specific tasks as assigned.
• Follow specific instructions and direction independently and from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Removes all trash safely and sanitarily from assigned areas as instructed.
• Maintains and cleans all equipment and supply areas.
• Reports any damage and malfunction of equipment of equipment immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintains all rooms and hallways using all established safety practices to prevent accident or injury to residents, visitors or staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
