About The Position

Isla Bella Beach Resort, a luxury oceanfront resort in the Florida Keys, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping operations. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across all guest rooms and public areas, while building and leading a high-performing, engaged team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced resort environment and takes pride in delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required to effectively support and communicate with team members
  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Manager in a hotel or resort environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume resort environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (hotel systems experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop housekeeping supervisors and team members to uphold Isla Bella’s luxury standards
  • Foster a positive, engaged, and motivated team culture aligned with our service values
  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments and departmental workflow
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are consistently met
  • Create and manage team schedules based on occupancy and business needs
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery with professionalism and urgency
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; order and track as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures
  • Partner with HR on recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support departmental projects
  • Step in to support operations during peak periods as needed
