About The Position

The Wauwinet, a Relais & Chateaux hotel and proud member of White Elephant Resorts, a collection of award-winning boutique hotels and luxury resorts located on Nantucket, Massachusetts, Palm Beach, Florida, and Aspen, Colorado, is currently accepting applications for the year-round management position of Housekeeping Manager, to oversee all housekeeping operations for The Wauwinet. This position involves managing, training and overseeing the performance of all housekeepers, housekeeping supervisors and housemen. The Housekeeping Manager is a year-round position for benefits purposes working 10 months of the year March 1st – December 31st. This position begins March 1, 2026. Applicants should work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible with schedule, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential. Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in a high-volume housekeeping operation as well as management/supervisory experience in a Hotel/Resort environment. This position requires relocation to Nantucket Other important aspects of this position include the ability to: Manage day-to-day operation of a busy housekeeping department in a luxury setting and ensure adherence to company standards Interact with employees and guests in a friendly and courteous manner Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all housekeeping personnel Manage daily payroll of housekeeping department Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments Maintain routine inventory controls and manage purchasing as required Ensure cleanliness and safety standards for all of our employees and guests

Requirements
