About the Service Companies: The company operates through three separate business groups: Managed Services – Turn-key Hospitality/Casino Housekeeping, Stewarding, Third Shift Cleaning, Public Area Cleaning, Laundry and Kitchen Cleaning Managed Services Staffing – Hospitality Staffing for the Resort, Casino & Event space. Specialty Services – Window and Chandelier Cleaning, Pressure Washing, Pool Cleaning and Maintenance, Exterior Building Cleaning Position Overview: Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel housekeeping department in a multi-room hotel. Hospitality housekeeping department head experience or higher required. No exceptions.

Requirements

  • Five years prior housekeeping management experience in a large hotel
  • Ability to understand and analyze the monthly P&L
  • Ability to speak publicly addressing a large group
  • Ability to push and pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time
  • Must meet company and client’s appearance standards
  • Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation
  • Ability to motivate and respect hourly employees
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall management of the entire housekeeping department to include room turn times, customer service scores and profitability
  • Manages a base of over 100 employees
  • Key interface between client property senior management and corporate
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct
  • Publicly recognizes and rewards employees
  • Coaches underperforming employees to improved performance
  • Ensures new employees follow the company training plan
  • Ensures proper documentation is completed as necessary
  • Ensures payroll is completed daily
  • Smiles and is friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property employees
  • Follows and teaches all required safety and standard operating procedures
  • Adheres to all company and regulatory policies. Reports any wrongdoing to corporate
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and long hours
