Job Summary The Housekeeping Manager will manage, train and inspect the performance of assigned Housekeeping staff ensuring that all procedures are completed to the units’ standards. Will assist with necessary tasks to ensure optimum service to client and guests. The Housekeeping Manager will have a thorough knowledge of best practices for housekeeping activities, as well as the policies and values of Eurest Services and the client. The Housekeeping Manager will focus on the needs and requirements of the client using service based solutions and best practices to exceed expectations. The Housekeeping Manager will reports in to Facilities Coordinator or Business Services Manager.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English & Spanish is Required
  • High Scool Diploma, or GED, and 3-4 years of facilities management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for checking all equipment used by the team of staff for proper supplies. Also checks to ensure orderliness, cleanliness and possible mechanical problems, then instructs designated personnel to correct deficiencies.
  • Assign designated keys, radios and other properties to assigned staff. Maintain accurate record of such and ensure security of keys.
  • Anticipate needs and recommend organizational changes for staff and services.
  • Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities during daily team meetings.
  • Conduct daily walk through’s to ensure clean and organized space per account and client standards.
  • Responds to emergencies at the facility as directed.
  • Adequately manages Hourly staff performance, attendance and workrule compliance.
  • Conducts staff training, when appropriate.
