The Baccarat Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury are maintained throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience in luxury 5-star hospitality, with operational experience preferred.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a housekeeping management role within a luxury 5-star hotel environment.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with guests, staff, and management.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong operational experience preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of housekeeping procedures and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of housekeeping management software systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and uphold the standards of cleanliness and presentation expected of a luxury 5-star hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
  • Train, motivate, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional performance and adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify any maintenance or cleanliness issues and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and engineering, to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient resolution of any issues.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels while controlling costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and hygiene regulations and protocols to provide a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
  • Prepare and analyze housekeeping reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by providing leadership, guidance, and support to housekeeping team members.
